Be aware of the policy change at Alibaba Cloud where they reversed their traffic policy in the past three years.
The current policy has been revised:Global (including China Mainland): Users can transmit to any location worldwide, including China Mainland, with up to 20 GB of free traffic each month.
Non-China Mainland locations: Users can transmit to any other region except China Mainland with up to 180 GB of free traffic each month.
Calculation method:
If your destination is within China Mainland, the portion of the traffic used will be counted towards the 20 GB of free allowance. Once you exceed 20 GB, the excess traffic will be charged according to the service provider's fees.
If your destination is outside of China Mainland, the portion of the traffic used will be counted towards the 180 GB of free allowance. Once you exceed 180 GB, the excess traffic will be charged according to the service provider's fees.
Also, its "CDN Public Traffic" free allowance refers to the traffic generated when CDN services distribute content to users rather than the upload traffic from your cloud server instance to CDNs or other places. In other words, here, the 200 GB free traffic specializes in distributing traffic to users through CDN, not the upload traffic from your cloud server instance.
Therefore, now only 20GB remains for use, (the server is located in Hong Kong). If you're using it domestically.
