OVH5 takes value to the extreme, plays with Oracle.
OVH Cloud, a well-known cloud computing service provider, recently launched KS-A dedicated server for €4.99 per month (setup fee €4.99). It has 8 vCPUs + 64 GB of RAM + 480 GB SATA storage + 100 Mbps bandwidth. Initially, the price was considered to be a mistake by the service provider, but today, representatives from OVH confirmed that the pricing is correct. The low-cost dedicated server has quickly gained popularity and is now in high demand. Auctions for this machine have started to heat up.The machine's overall power consumption is estimated to be around 100-150 watts. Assuming each watt costs $0.05, the monthly electricity bill would be $30 days x 720 hours = $1,800. Given an average power factor of 0.8, the actual monthly electricity bill would be approximately $1,500.
