From yesterday, I found that my CDN suddenly returned 504, then I filed an issue with the support team. They told me it was the source server's problem. So I started to research about what happened. But since I didn't touch any servers, I ruled out the possibility of the server being the cause. I thought maybe the IP of the source server might be the issue, so I bought two servers in Hong Kong from Huawei and Alibaba respectively. The results were still the same. Then I thought maybe it needed a domestic server, so I bought one from Ali again. I planned to use this server to reverse proxy my original server, but the result was also 504. From this point on, I realized that using only a domestic server wouldn't have any problems if the source server wasn't located domestically. However, if the source server was not located domestically, it would be blacklisted by similar firewall systems just like a second later. |
