Xiamen's dialect is so troublesome that it nearly made the customer service go crazy. I called up one of Xiamen's domain registration companies and repeated the few letters, but she always misunderstood me. After telling her in standard Mandarin, I said it over 20 times but still couldn't get the right spelling. She was almost out of patience; I was on the verge of losing my temper. Please don't use your dialect to spell out letters when you're doing customer service. The correct spelling will be incorrect.
