I often eat at a mid-to-lower range self-service called "Da Fish," which costs around 250 yuan per person. It's mostly Japanese-style with dishes like grilled fish and sushi. There's also tempura, sashimi, etc. The food here is fresh as it has many branches in different cities of Guangdong Province. As for my meal portions, I usually have at least 40 pieces of salmon, 20 pieces of tuna, 3-4 dozen shrimp, and about ten pieces of wagyu beef cooked in tempura sauce. In total, I can always finish the meal and even bring back my wife's portion. My height is 185 cm and weight is 90 kg, so I don't think I'm eating that much. What I find odd is how people eat fried rice at self-service restaurants. I've seen this quite frequently, but I feel they're just trying to impress others. I love eating salmon, usually buying 450g of it, which is only about 20 pieces. It costs me over 100 yuan, so when I'm craving salmon, I'll give the restaurant boss a lesson. |
