The battery capacity of the iPhone 12 I bought two years ago is still over 80%. I used some harmful software, and it was too slow before, so I restored to factory settings. But now it can't download old versions, all the latest ones. The iOS 17 works well enough. It's not too slow, but I'm not sure if iOS 18 will be more problematic. According to what I heard, iOS 18 might be even slower than 17. Have you upgraded? Did you find any significant improvements in terms of performance? Also, after replacing the battery, could the phone become more responsive again? According to what I've read, phones with batteries that are older tend to have higher internal resistance, which causes overheating and CPU throttling, leading to sluggishness. |
