CloudCone recently launched a self-migration function for its VPS services, allowing users to easily transfer their VPS service to another CloudCone account. However, it's important to note that this feature is currently only available for Budget-Tier VPS plans and requires submitting a support ticket for other services like SC2 and Du Fu. Here are the steps to use the self-migration function:
1. Log into your CloudCone panel:
Visit the CloudCone website and log in using your account.
2. Navigate to the relevant management page:
In your user panel, click on the "Billing" (billing) tab in the left navigation bar.
3. Generate a migration token:
Click on the red "Generate Migration Token" button in the "Transfer Ownership" section. In the confirmation window, select the blue "Yes, continue" option.
The system will generate an migration token and send it to your email.
4. Share the migration token:
The generated token expires within 24 hours. During this time, you need to share the token with another CloudCone user so they can accept the migration from their account.
If the token expires, you need to generate a new one.
5. Accept the service migration:
Once the other CloudCone user receives the migration token, they can log in to their account and follow the guide to accept the migration.
6. Cancel the service migration request:
If you want to cancel the already created migration request, you can check the pending transfers and expired tokens in the "Billing" (billing) tab of your user panel. Clicking on the red "Cancel Transfer" button will cancel the migration and make the token invalid.
With these steps, you can easily transfer your CloudCone VPS service to another account. If you encounter any issues during the process, feel free to contact CloudCone's support team for help. |
