It's not just because my wife is pregnant; I'm finding it hard to make ends meet with my current dead-end job, earning 5-6 a month. Recently, I've been thinking about learning front-end development, Node.js and Go language, not for the sake of looking for work at 30+, but simply to have something to show off as an experience that I can use to get a higher-paying job or freelance projects later on. Browsing through tutorials online, I could understand some parts of them, but couldn't follow the rest due to the complexity of the content. Watching videos helped me grasp the basics, but when I tried writing code myself, things would go wrong. I was frustrated and felt hopeless. I thought about what kind of project could earn money quickly, but nothing came up. It feels like I'll never be able to do this. |
