To register a domain name and create a landing page (pure static site), I heard that buying a domestic domain will require the DNS to be registered at the North Bank, and you'll need to go to the local police station to get it registered before you can access it domestically.
Can I buy a domain in another country? And have the server hosted in Hong Kong.
I saw this website (http://90haoka.com) without needing a North Bank. It can also share to WeChat normally. The registrar is dnspod, and the server is in Ali Cloud's Hong Kong region.
So first, I went to register dnspod, but it redirected me to Tencent Cloud (
).
So I should not need a North Bank when registering with Tencent Cloud (International Version) right?
