Dear Channel Partners:
On behalf of New Net, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for your trust and support throughout the years.
In early August, the upstream registry Verisign announced that it would raise the price of global .com domain registration from $9.59 per year to $10.26 per year, excluding ICANN management fees/taxes. In response to market conditions and the purchasing situation of our channel partners, we have decided to adjust the pricing of .com new registrations and renewals as well as English domain names. Specifically, we will be increasing the price of new registrations for all levels of channels by $1 in China, from $75 to $77, and for non-starred channels by $1 in other regions, from $75 to $82; and decreasing the price of renewals by $1 in China, from $80 to $89, and from $80 to $97 in other regions respectively.
We also plan to decrease the prices of certain Chinese domains, such as .cn, which are not government-owned, by $3 in China, from $33 to $29, a decrease of 12%, and by $3 in other regions, from $35 to $33, a decrease of 10%. For Net and Cc domains, we will decrease the prices by $1 in China, from $93 to $92, and from $99 to $97 respectively, a decrease of 2%.
For non-starred channels, the prices remain unchanged. Please refer to the following table for detailed information on the price adjustments.
Please note that these prices are subject to change according to the platform's settlement prices. The red color indicates an increase, the green color indicates a decrease, and the black color means no adjustment. |
