Are we still obsessed with HK addresses?

Before opening the CMI's host in HK, I found many addresses were restricted.

It is better to use JP or SG addresses instead of HK ones though Ping seems fast.

So do you still stick with HK addresses now? Although it looks really fast when PINGing.
